They’ve retracted their breaking news alert: A badly split SAG national board approved a two-year tentative deal on its feature-primetime contract, triggering a ratification vote by the guild’s 120,000 members. The board’s approval came Sunday, two days after SAG execs and the congloms hammered out the final details of the pact. It hasn’t. At least not yet.

Sunday Landscaping

Each year, we do a little bit more landscaping around the new house. Last year it was installing the solar system and the huge stone entrance gates. This year, we are focusing on installing some sprinkler sytems to add some grass to the back lawn. Yesterday, Joe finished installing the sprinkler system and today he is laying down some sod. The State Department has lifted a travel advisory that warned Americans against visiting Zimbabwe, but cautioned that the political situation in the African nation remains unpredictable and could quickly deteriorate.
